Can My Denture Be Converted Into an Implant Denture?
In this video, Dr. Lilian Jaime explains how an existing denture may be adapted for implants and what needs to be evaluated first.
If you have an existing denture that feels loose, we invite you to visit our office for a free consultation. During this visit, we perform a full exam and a CT scan to determine how many implants can be placed to give you the stability you need.
If you decide to move forward with treatment, we can begin right away. In most cases, we can use your existing denture after placing the implants, so you have something secure to wear while your new denture is being made.
Fabricating a new denture typically involves about four appointments. Throughout that process, we make sure the denture fits comfortably, that you are happy with the color and appearance, and that any adjustments are made to achieve the smile you want.
In the meantime, your current denture provides the stability and function you need while we complete your final restoration.
If you or someone you love is struggling with missing teeth or loose dentures, contact Sunshine Dental in Albuquerque, NM, for a free consultation to learn how our implant denture options can enhance your smile, improve your function, and restore your self-confidence.
