Partial Denture Options

In this video, Dr. Lilian Jaime explains how modern partial dentures differ from traditional designs and who they are best suited for.

We offer custom partial dentures in our office that are more natural and comfortable than traditional partials. These are a great option for patients who may not be ready for implants but still want something that looks good and stays secure.

These partials are made from a special flexible material that is gentle on the gums. They do not place excess pressure on the tissue, which helps prevent soreness. The material does not absorb plaque, stays clean, and is biocompatible, meaning it does not cause allergic reactions in the gums.

Because the material is both thin and strong, the partial does not need to cover much of the palate, making it more comfortable to wear. With proper care, these partials can last many years.

In some cases, we can even add implants later and modify the same partial to gain additional retention from them. This allows treatment to be done in stages, if needed.

There are multiple options available, and the right choice depends on your oral condition and your budget. Whether you are ready for implants now or need an alternative solution, there is always a way forward. Our goal is to help every patient find a treatment option that works for them.

Why Mini Implants May Lower Dental Implant Costs in 2026

Last Updated on June 1, 2026 by Dr. Lilian Jaime Dental implant costs in 2026 can influence when and how patients choose to begin treatment. For many people, the decision is not based on price alone. Treatment often has to fit around work schedules, family responsibilities, health needs, and monthly budgets. Even patients who feel ready to replace missing [...]

Cosmetic Dentist in Albuquerque, NM: What Does Your Smile Need?

Searching for a cosmetic dentist usually starts with a question, not a treatment name. You may notice something about your smile that bothers you, but you may not know which option makes sense. Maybe stains no longer respond to store-bought whitening. Maybe a chipped tooth catches your tongue, or uneven spacing makes your smile feel less balanced. Small details [...]

Can Minimally Invasive Dental Implants Support Same-Day Teeth?

Minimally invasive dentistry begins with a simple but meaningful question: how can we protect your oral health while preserving as much healthy structure as possible? Rather than moving straight to the most aggressive treatment, this approach focuses on prevention, early intervention, and targeted care. The goal is to treat the problem in a way that supports long-term function without [...]

The Best Implant Options in 2026 May Not Be What You Expect

Every patient exploring the best dental implant options in 2026 usually starts with a different question, but tends to circle the same ideas. Some wonder how it will feel and whether it will be comfortable. Others consider eligibility: whether their jawbone is strong enough to support an implant. And nearly everyone, no matter how delicately they phrase it, wants [...]

What Payment Plans for Dental Implants Can Mean for Your Care

At some point, we all find ourselves in that small office with the calculator between us and a big decision. Maybe it’s for a car, a home repair, or a dental procedure you’ve been putting off. You nod as numbers are added and subtracted, trying to focus, but your mind drifts to the practical questions: Can I really do [...]

Veneers vs. Crowns: Which Treatment Does Your Smile Actually Need?

In the conversation of veneers vs. dental crowns, the decision often comes down to structure. Think of it like updating a home’s exterior. Some projects call for rebuilding the façade, removing worn materials, and reinforcing the supports that hold everything up. It takes more work, but it restores strength as well as appearance. Other updates stay at the surface. [...]

How a One-Piece Dental Implant Could Simplify Your Treatment

The zipper replaced rows of buttons, hooks, and laces with a single, continuous closure. A long series of small fastening points became one smooth line that closes in a single pass. The purpose of the garment never changed. The way it comes together did. A process that once relied on many separate steps now follows a single, clear path. [...]

Sleep Apnea Treatment in Albuquerque, NM: Support Steady Breathing Overnight

Sleep has a way of keeping certain habits out of sight. You might grind your teeth without realizing it, only to wake up with a sore jaw. Some people talk in their sleep. Others move around or shift positions without ever waking. These patterns happen without much awareness, and often go unnoticed unless someone else points them out. Sleep [...]
