Partial Denture Options
In this video, Dr. Lilian Jaime explains how modern partial dentures differ from traditional designs and who they are best suited for.
We offer custom partial dentures in our office that are more natural and comfortable than traditional partials. These are a great option for patients who may not be ready for implants but still want something that looks good and stays secure.
These partials are made from a special flexible material that is gentle on the gums. They do not place excess pressure on the tissue, which helps prevent soreness. The material does not absorb plaque, stays clean, and is biocompatible, meaning it does not cause allergic reactions in the gums.
Because the material is both thin and strong, the partial does not need to cover much of the palate, making it more comfortable to wear. With proper care, these partials can last many years.
In some cases, we can even add implants later and modify the same partial to gain additional retention from them. This allows treatment to be done in stages, if needed.
There are multiple options available, and the right choice depends on your oral condition and your budget. Whether you are ready for implants now or need an alternative solution, there is always a way forward. Our goal is to help every patient find a treatment option that works for them.
