How Do I Care for My Implant Dentures?
In this video, Dr. Lilian Jaime explains the daily and long-term care steps that protect implant dentures and prevent avoidable problems.
First, we recommend visiting us at least every 6 months. During these visits, we professionally clean your dentures and implants and check to make sure everything is healthy and functioning properly.
At home, we recommend using a Waterpik once a day to clean around the implants. You should also clean your dentures thoroughly every day. This helps prevent plaque buildup in the attachment areas, making it easier to place and remove your denture and helping maintain long-term oral health.
If you or someone you love is struggling with missing teeth or loose dentures, contact Sunshine Dental in Albuquerque, NM, for a free consultation to learn how our implant denture options can enhance your smile, improve your function, and restore your self-confidence.
